Connect HeyCMO to Claude Desktop

Use your AI marketing brain directly from Claude Desktop via MCP.

Prerequisites

Step 1: Find Your Config File

Open your Claude Desktop configuration file:

~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Step 2: Add HeyCMO as an MCP Server

Add the following to your config file. Replace YOUR_CUSTOMER_ID and YOUR_API_KEY with your actual values from the dashboard:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "heycmo": {
      "url": "https://brain.heycmo.ai/mcp/YOUR_CUSTOMER_ID",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer hcmo_live_YOUR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}
If you already have other MCP servers configured, add the "heycmo" entry inside the existing "mcpServers" object.

Step 3: Restart Claude Desktop

Close and reopen Claude Desktop. You should see HeyCMO listed as an available MCP server.

Step 4: Start Using It

Try these prompts in Claude Desktop:

"HeyCMO, what should I post about this week?"

"Run my daily research"

"Create a carousel about [topic]"
